Imran Khan no more Prime Minister of Pakistan

Imran Khan, the prime minister of Pakistan for almost four years has been de-seated as a result of no confidence motion by the combined opposition of the country.

His ouster makes him the first Pakistani prime minister to be ousted by a no-confidence vote. The combined opposition parties mustered 174 votes in the 342-member house in support of the no-confidence motion, the house speaker said, making it a majority vote.

The people of Pakistan speculate that his "Absolutely Not" answer to USA and his visit to Russia could have been the reason of his ouster as otherwise he was the most honest and upright prime minster of present times.

New Zealand security concerns were genuine - Pakistan beat them by 5 Wickets

Recently New Zealand cricket team was in Pakistan after carrying out an elaborate security check. Yet just one hour before their first match they abandoned the tour on security concerns. That was a bad thing to do - yet they were right for Pakistan "beat them by 5 wickets" in their first match at Sharjah last night as part of the ongoing T20 World Cup Cricket tournament.

New Zealand batted first and was demolished for paltry 134 runs in 20 overs. Haris Rauf was the most successful bowler who sent for batters back to Pavilion. Coming to bat, Pakistan did have some hiccups, but attained the target in 18.4 overs and won the match by five wickets. It was Asif Ali (27* off 12 balls) and Shoaib Malik (26* off 20) who really clinched the victory from hands of New Zealanders.

Following New Zealand's abandonment of Pakistan tour, England also followed suit and cancelled their tour to Pakistan, something for which they were much criticized by world class cricketers. Now in next part of the tournament, it leaves to be seen how the two would meet each other.
