Cheerleaders Entertain Stranded Passengers At China's Dalian International Airport

Airport delays have long marred air travel, yet rarely have they been turned into an opportunity to put on a show.

But that's exactly what happened when a thick fog stranded 5,000 travelers in Dalian, China last week.

The airport brought in a group of college cheerleaders to perk up passengers, reports ChinaSmack.

Sporting matching blue uniforms and white pom poms, the trio gave an entertaining performance filled with jumps, kicks and splits according to CNN.

British Airports 'could be paralysed by Olympic influx'

Planes full of passengers could be ‘left on runways’ as airports struggle to cope during the Olympic Games, senior MPs have warned.

The House of Commons Culture, Media and Sport Committee said London Heathrow could become gridlocked, with planes forced to circle the airport and tourists made to queue at passport control for several hours.

85-year-old says she was strip searched at JFK

An 85-year-old woman said Saturday that she was injured and humiliated when she was strip searched at an airport after she asked to be patted down instead of going through a body scanner. 

Lenore Zimmerman, in wheel chair, said she was taken to a private room and made to take off her pants and other clothes after she asked to forgo the screening because she worried it would interfere with her defibrillator. She missed her flight and had to take one 2 1/2 hours later.

However, her allegations are denied by transportation security officials.
