Newly born royal princess named Charlotte Elizabeth Diana

In a rare move to remember and cherish the memories of the elders and grand parents, the newly born royal princess has been named Charlotte Elizabeth Diana.

Charlotte, which is French in origin, is feminine version of Charles, a nod to her grandfather, the Prince of Wales, while Elizabeth and Diana are in tribute to William's 89-year-old grandmother (the Queen) and his late mother (Diana)

Diana's closest friend Rosa Monckton tweeted: 'Diana's spirit lives on in her sons, and now her name lives on in her granddaughter'

It may be mentioned that the Princess of Cambridge, who is now fourth in line to the throne, was born on Saturday.

Hammerhead shark gives birth to a litter of pups on Florida beach

This seemed incredible and something that hasn't happened before.

Scroll down for video

On the crowded Florida Beach, a hammerhead shark came on shore and gave birth to a litter of pups right in fornt of the onlookers and beach goers.

This was rather unusual as the shark kept coming toward the shore despite being warded off to deep sea - at last a fisherman hauled her to the beach where she kept waggling and gave birth to her off springs.

The shark was coaxed to go back to the sea but she died around 3pm yesterday.

Female hammerheads usually give birth to 20-40 live pups, which are about 70cm long as pups.

Chun Chun was born in a caesarean section which lasted around 20 minutes on Saturday. Both the mother and baby boy are doing fine, according to doctors who spoke with the Chinese newspaper Dahe Daily.

It may be added for information that the heaviest birth listed by Guinness World Records belongs to a baby boy born in 1879 in Ohio, who weighed 23 pounds 12 ounces at birth and whose mother was said to be a "giantess." Unfortunately, the baby died 11 hours after birth.
