Second Boston Bomber Suspect Arrested

In a dramatic suspect-hunt-finish, the Boston police captured the second suspected Boston bomber from a boat where he was hiding after the shootout in which his elder brother was killed.

It is reported that Police captured Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 19, on Friday night after a day-long manhunt using helicopters and heavily armed officers in a Boston suburb.

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 19, was apprehended 'covered in blood and hiding in a covered boat in Watertown.

Tsarnaev reportedly surrendered himself to police having been shot twice. He was rushed to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and is reported to have lost a great deal of blood. He is currently in a 'serious condition'

Breaking News: Boston bombing suspect Killed in shoot-out: Second suspect still on run

In a latest development  one of the Boston bombing suspects has been shot dead by police in a dramatic shootout while the second is on the loose and said to be 'armed and dangerous'. The shootout took place in the suburbs of the city.

Police are hunting for the terrorist dubbed 'Suspect 2' (left) after he went on the run following a firefight in the Watertown suburb of Boston. The other, named 'Suspect 1' (right) died in hospital after the gun battle

The drama unfolded hours after the FBI released images of two men named as suspects in the deadly Boston marathon attacks and the Boston Globe has said the two men involved in this evenings shoot-out are those same men.

It may be added that dozens of police officers, FBI agents, national guard, K-9 units and SWAT teams had rushed to Watertown after midnight after a reported car chase involving the two suspects in a black 2013 Mercedes.

According to eyewitness reports, two men believed to be in their early twenties engaged in a furious gun fight with dozens of police on a backstreet of Watertown.

A footage obtained from the CCTV security cameras show a man in black outfit 'running' away from the scene of the blast while everyone else seems to be ducking down or taking cover.

The unidentified man is also captured using his phone at the moment the first explosion detonated 100 yards away on Boylston Street on Monday and 12 seconds before the second blast close to where he is standing.

According to a reporter who has viewed the images, one of the men is wearing a backpack that matches one of the recovered bags believed to be have been used in the terror attack - while the other individual also is seen to have a bag.

The FBI and investigators are finding more on the man and a bag placed left of a letter box.
