ISIS suicide bomber car blown twice - watch video

The second explosion that explodes the suicide-bomber's vehicle mid air

In the film You Only Live Twice, James Bond survives - but not a suicide bomber who was blown twice and perished.

This is not a movie but seen from an actual incident in which a would-be suicide bomber's car was blown up into the air when it encountered a road side bom near Kirkuk in northern Iraq.





Reportedly the suicide bomber was to launch an attack on Kurdish Peshmerga forces - but was blown up short of the target. The car went up almost 100 feet in air and then exploded as can be seen in the video b elow:

Indian Navy submarine explosion in Mumbai Port leaves 18 sailors dead

The Indian Navy's Sindhurakshak submarine is now said to be practically submerged after the fire

An Indian Navy submarine INS Sindhurakshak submerged off the Mumbai Port after a huge explosion - leaving dead at least 18 sailors on-board.

Witnesses described the accident as a huge fireball that shot hundreds of feet in air. The submarine is believed to be nearly submerged after fire in home port of Mumbai.

One man standing outside the dockyard said he heard a sound like a rocket or jet engine, then a blast, while another witness said the sky turned red.




Firefighters extinguished the blaze in two hours as the vessel dipped under water, and a rescue operation is now underway in a bid to save any survivors feared trapped on board.

16-year-old Russian-made INS Sindhurakshak was refitted by Russian company less than a year ago.

Six UK soldiers killed in Afghanistan explosion

Six UK soldiers have been killed in southern Afghanistan when their vehicle was hit by an explosion on Tuesday.


Five from the 3rd Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment and one from the 1st Battalion The Duke of Lancaster's Regiment had been on patrol. Their families have been told.

It is the biggest single loss of UK life at one time in Afghanistan since a Nimrod crash killed 14 in 2006.

The number of British military deaths in Afghanistan since 2001 is now 404.

Another iPhone Explodes

After the Australian aircraft landing "explosion" of the iPhone, now there is a second explosion - this time far away in Brazil.

Reports say that the iPhone 4 was plugged in to charge overnight when it began to emit smoke and sparks as its owner slept nearby. The smoking and sparky iPhone was inches away from the owner's face. According to Brazilian media reports, "the iPhone’s owner emerged unscathed but flustered."

As already reported in Imposing Headlines, an Apple iPhone began "emitting a significant amount of dense smoke, accompanied by a red glow", while Australia's Regional Express airline was landing. The fire was hurriedly put off by the flight attendant.
