Woman Found Dead At Home Of Liege Attack Gunman

In a dramatic development, a 45 years old woman has been found at the home of Nordine Amrani, who earlier in a grenade attack killed four and injured 123.

As per reports in the Belgian media the woman was a cleaner of one of the attacker's neighbours. There is unconfirmed speculation that he may have tried to rape her.

"She was found in a shed which he used, notably to grow cannabis," Cedric Visart de Bocarme, who is Liege's prosecutor general, told Belgian public radio.

Gunman kills four in Belgium

A gunman opened fire in the centre of the Belgian city of Liege, killing at least four people and wounding 123. The dead also included an 18-month-old girl whom doctors had fought for several hours to save.

The man also threw grenades into a crowded square from a rooftop before killing himself, reports say.

He was named as Nordine Amrani, aged 33. He was known to police for firearms offences. Officials said the attacker acted alone, ruling out terrorism.
