First Ever Live Streaming Concert on Twitter [ Starring Tiësto ] - Stay Tuned

HP and Intel will be hosting the first-ever live stream of a concert on Twitter next week at the 2012 Consumer Electronics Show. The headliner: electronic music master Tiësto.
The concert will kick off the launch of a new 10-episode series on YouTube called “In the Booth” — a behind-the-scenes look at Tiësto’s life and his impact on the electronic dance movement. The private event at the nightclub XS at Encore in Las Vegas will stream live from HP and Intel’s newly enhanced Twitter brand pages.

HP donates WebOS system code to open source developers

HP has decided to donate the the code behind the mobile operating system, WebOS, to open source software developers. HP acquired the software when it bought the smartphone maker Palm for $1.2bn (£767m) last year.

"By contributing this innovation, HP unleashes the creativity of the open source community to advance a new generation of applications and devices," said the firm's president and chief executive, Meg Whitman.

HP leads Market of Non-iPad Tablet Sales

Research Firm NPD has today released a new study which details non-iPad tablet sales in first 10 month of 2011. The study reveals that only 1.2 million non-iPad tablets have been sold and quite surprisingly, HP is at the top of the list.

HP is reported to have a market share of 17% of the total sales which means that HP nearly sold 0.2 Million Tablet devices till October 2011.
