While after a very severe winters, the Britain had just started to enjoy the spring, the spring was over before it could commence.
As of yesterday, Britain was once again receiving snowfall accompanied with gusting winds at 65 mph across the country.2-3 inch snow has been reported in many parts of Princetown, Devon, and Rhayader, Powys and high ground in Shropshire near Welsh border.
Mike Steedman, owner of the Anchor Inn in the hills above Newcastle-on-Clun, near the Welsh border, said. ‘It started at about 11 pm and it came in wet and heavy. It's beginning to go now.
The snowfall this late is sparking fears of flooding in the rest of the region, as two local rivers were given flood warnings.

Britain is under a grip of very cold weather with fast blowing gales and a ferocious ea besides Thunder and lightning mix with snow up north.
And that is not the end - the coming weeked would be worse and up to four inches of snow is expected to fall in the frozen North East and Scotland, with ice forming overnight and more disruption expected on transport networks.
A biting wind from Russia, nicknamed the Beast from the East, is making seasonal temperatures of around 5C (41F) feel far colder. Sub-zero temperatures are expected into the weekend, with lows of -5 or -6C forecast for tonight, although the South West could reach 8 or 9C over the next few days.
The rain and wind has battered Beachy Head to the point that it caused three major cliff collapses in a week. One National Trust worker said he had never known erosion as bad as those that happened recently.

While this happens in the north, signs of spring appear in the South West with temperatures reaching 8 or 9C.
