After Scottish, it is Singlish that Apple Siri Cannot Decipher - But Someone Else Can!!

Awhile ago, there were news about the inability of the Apple's Siri to decipher Scottish accent. Now users in Singapore, speaking Singlish, a local accent of English, are facing the same problem. And it is amazing that when Apple could not find a solution - a local firm outperformed Apple's software engineers by coming up with a Singlish alternative for their users. Sometimes, local talent does wonder, which bigger giants cannot.

The app is called DeF!ND and is compatible for both iPhone and Android users. This app has the ability to understand “Singlish” which is a blend of English and words in languages from neighboring countries, along with local accents. DeF!ND is being released soon.
