Monster Yamaha's Colin Edwards, who was seriously injured in the crash in which Marco Simoncelli lost his life, is most certain to miss the Valencia MotoGP round next weekend.
Edwards suffered from multiple fractures to the top of his left humerus bone and had his cartilage damaged around the tip of the same bone for which he will go under the knife. He also have bruises on his wrists and right heel. His team are considering replacement rider options.
