NATO raid kills 24 Pakistan troops

NATO helicopters from Afghanistan intruded into northwest Pakistan and attacked a military check post near the border on Saturday, killing 24 troops and wounding fourteen,reports Yahoo News quoting the Reuters.

Two intelligence officials in the region said that 24 Pakistani troops had been killed and fourteen wounded in the attack on the Salala check post, about 2.5 km (1.5 miles) from the Afghan border. Reportedly two officers have also died in the incident.
