Thai Floods Force Honda to Cut US and Canadian Production by 50%

Full Story: TIME Business October 31, 2011

Thai floods are taking a toll on its manufacturing ability to keep international obligations. The latest is that Honda is planning a 50% cut its US and Canadian factory productions by half due to parts shortage.

The flooding, which began in July and has forced many auto parts plants to close, also affected Toyota, which cut overtime for production in North America through the end of this week.
