Axact offices raided by FIA

The FIA (Federal Investigation Agency) today raided Axact offices all over the country after a report to their alleged involvement in selling fake degrees was reported by the New York Times.

FIA's cyber crime unit raided Axact's Islamabad and Karachi offices on Tuesday and took away manuals, records and computers as evidence in the ongoing investigation of a global fake degrees scam.

Reportedly, FIA is to determine whether the contents of the NYT story were true and whether the company was involved in any illegal business.
