Pakistan Prime Minister Partially survives disqualification


20 April was the day Pakistan has been waiting for the past two months since the supreme court reserved its verdict on Panama Case involving its prime minister Nawaz Sharif.

The decision announced on 20th April however leaves a clear verdict on the issue and a split decision of 3-2 orders further inquiry by a joint investigation team. 





While the JIT is asked to complete its proceedings in 60 days as to how money moved out of the country which was later invested to buy flats in London and establish offshore companies.

However, the people of Pakistan are skeptical of the formation of JIT which will have members from institutions under the government control and a just decision is viewed with crossed fingers.
