Gaddafi's Son Wants to Surrender to ICC

After the assassination of his father and brother while in custody  by Libyan freedom fighter, Saif al Islam, the on-the-run surviving son of Gaddafi and former Libyan intelligence chief Abdullah al-Senussi  want to surrender to the ICC. This has been stated by a senior Libyan military official with the National Transitional Council said on Wednesday.

Saif al-Islam is on the run since Libyan forces overran his father’s home town of Sirte. He is thought to be somewhere near Libya’s southern border with Niger. It may be added here that Saif al-Islam is wanted by the war crimes court, as was his late father. There is also a warrant out for Senussi.
