Many in third world countries would doubt if a judge orders someone of the level of prince in kingdom to open up its farm for scrutiny being public authority. But in Britain it does happen.
A principal judge of the First-Tier Tribunal on information rights has ordered the Prince of Wales' private estate to hand over environmental data about a controversial oyster farm it owns, being a "public authority" that is subject to environmental regulations.
It may be added that a local campaigner Michael Bruton has claimed that prince's oyster farm in Cornwall is causing damage to the natural habitat.
