Apple today approved an internet tethering iOS app in the App store and then later on removed it from the App store claiming it to be burdening the carriers.
That iOS app was know as “iTether” and was able to share iPhone’s internet connection with PC or Mac via USB cable for just one time fee of $14.99 . It seemed odd at first that Apple approved something which it hesitated to approve before due to agreement issues with carriers but the mistake was short-lived as they later on removed it, says Chip Hazard.
