Coronavirus: Refrigerated Trucks being used as morgue in USA


The rising number of deaths and scarcity of space in the hospitals has forced the US authorities to us refrigerated trucks as morgues.

Line of white refrigerated trucks can be seen parked outside New York hospitals after 98 people died in seven hours. City officials said this is the biggest deployment of makeshift morgues since the September 11, 2001.





As of Monday morning, there were 142,000 cases of coronavirus in the US and 2,500 people had died. 

In the meantime, the homeless are made to sleep six feet apart in an empty parking lot in Las Vegas.

Gunman kill dozens in Las Vegas

In a bizarre incident, a lone gunman killed dozens while injuring over 100 in Las Vegas. Later the gunman was pronounced dead by Las Vegas police in his hotel room.

Identified as Stephen Paddock, the gunman fired indiscriminately from the 39th floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel. Most of the victims were in audience of a musical show down below gunman's hotel balcony.





In all at least 58 people have been reported killed and over 500 injured - both from bullet wounds and stampede. The number of victims killed during this massacre now surpasses the 49 murdered in the June 2016

Garcia stuns Amir Khan in Las Vegas

The much talked about bout between American Garcia and the British Khan ended in a rout Sunday as Garcia stunned Amir Khan with his might and knocked out the Brit in the fourth round.

Amir Khan did play well in the first round, but then he was floored thrice in the next three rounds as American Garcia exploited the Englishman's naive tactics to keep his WBC light-welterweight title and snatch his opponent's WBA belt.


It was Khan's second straight defeat following his loss to Lamont Peterson and the third in his career, having also tasted defeat at the hands of Breidis Prescott.


Carl Froch believes Amir Khan should consider retirement after being stopped in the fourth round by Danny Garcia in Las Vegas.
