Politicians are same all over: Miliband attends football match hours after claiming he was too ill to attend protest against NHS reforms

It was the kind of miraculous recovery that his supporters have been hoping he would pull off in the opinion polls.

Apparently down and out with illness, Ed Miliband cancelled an appearance at a rally to protest against the NHS reforms.

The event was duly called off. But three hours after it had been due to begin, the Labour leader was spotted taking his seat at a football match on a warm Saturday afternoon.

When contacted,  Miliband  insisted yesterday there was nothing untoward going on and he had simply recovered from illness overnight.

Pir Pagara passes away in London

Spiritual Leader of Hur Community and Chief of Pakistan Muslim League (Functional) Pir Mardan Shah-II, more commonly known as Pir Pagara, breathed his last at the age of 83 London on Tuesday, Geo News reported.



Pir Pagara was flown to London's Wellington Hospital in an air-ambulance after suffering from an infection following his surgery in Karachi a few days ago, where he, reportedly, had shown some signs of improvement before his death. 

Doctors at Wellington Hospital said the cause of death was cardiac arrest.

Pir Pagara entered the political scene after the defeat of Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah, sister of Jinnah 9the founder of Pakistan),  at the hands of Field Marshall Ayub Khan in presidential run, Mohtarma declared the Muslim League as Functional and made Pir Pagaro the head of this faction of Pakistan Muslim League, which he led with grace till his death.

Prosecutor demands death by hanging to former President Mubarak

In the trial of former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, (83), the prosecutor demanded the death penalty. The same punishment he asked for the co-accused of Mubarak. The former president is on trial for involvement in the deaths of demonstrators protested against his regime.Monday, the process continues.


The deposed leader on trial for his alleged involvement in orders that were given to shoot at the people during the protests in early 2011.Officially 846 killed and wounded and 6,000 wounded. The prosecutor called it mass murder and consequently demands the death penalty.

Guess Which Country Has The Best Paid Politicians In Europe

Europe as of day is plunged into unfathomable monetary and fiscal crises. People are out there on the streets to protest against the 1% who have made their lives miserable and unlivable.

Can you rearrange these flags according to highest to lowest salary scale?
But many wouldn't know how much their politicians are being paid from the taxes that are collected form them. Business Insider has published an interesting survey of almost all European countries and rated the salaries of their politicians and members parliament.



The resulting study reveals the base salaries that each EU country's politicians earned along with a look at the perks and expenses that politicians can also claim as part of their living.
