Steve Jobs’s sweetheart and mother of his daughter to publish memoir

Chrisann Brennan, who was one of Steve Jobs's first serious loves, his high school girlfriend and the mother of his daughter Lisa, is all set to tell her love story with Steve Jobs.

Brennan has decided to unfold her relationship with Jobs, the Apple co-founder who died in 2011, in a new memoir to be published next year.  

After meeting him at Homestead High School in Cupertino, California, Brennan later lived with Jobs in a cabin, meditated with him and attended lectures. "At 17, Steve had more than a touch of the cool sophistication of a Beat poet," Brennan wrote in an article in Rolling Stone after his death.

While in her early 20s, she became pregnant and gave birth to their daughter, who is known as Lisa Brennan-Jobs.

Revealing Steve Jobs FBI File

While Steve Jobs' contributions to Apple and making of iPhones are lauded all over the world and that his tragic death softened many's hearts, there is more to Jobs' secret life as made public by FBI.


the Federal Bureau of Investigation's 191-page file on Steve Jobs, released Thursday, reveals numerous lively details about the Apple co-founder's personal life and professional past, as recounted to FBI agents by his colleagues, neighbors and friends.
The document confirms much of what is already known about Jobs, including his drug use, spartan lifestyle and the intense managerial style that created friction between him and some of his colleagues. 

FBI document also sheds light on Jobs' relationship with the government, revealing that he was given top secret clearance between 1988 and 1990 and was being considered by President George H. W. Bush's administration for a position on the president's Export Council.

Bill Gates Reflects On The Passing of Steve Jobs

In a Nightline interview, which aired Tuesday night, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates spoke about his relationship with Steve Jobs, particularly how he was affected by the Apple co-founder's death in October 2011.
In a clip from the interview, which was posted on Yahoo, Gates appears to play down the much discussed rivalry between Jobs and himself, shrugging off interviewer Bill Weir's intimation that it wasn't until Gates' last meeting with Jobs, shortly before Jobs died, that the tech titans reconciled.

Steve Jobs Action Figure Doll Might Not Hit The Stores

First Steve Jobs Biography, then statue and now action figures!. The icon will certainly be never forgotten but when it comes to action figures, Apple is having a little bit problem with its “Realistic effect” and hence the company in Hong Kong which was taking pre-orders is being threatened by the Cupertino company, says Wahaab JB at Chip Hazard.
The doll is already being sold by eBay for $135.

Nushka Lab’s Free Steve Jobs Tribute Calender App Request Declined By Apple

Well apparently, looks like Apple has decided that its time to let go its founding icon Steve Jobs. According to a report on Macnn, Apple has declined the offer of Nushka Labs to pay tribute to Steve Jobs via their free calendar app. 
Nushka Labs is well known for its Calendar App PhotoCalender HD which allows users to impose calendar over their photos so that it can later be used as wallpaper screen for iPhone. These calendar-photos can also be sent to others via email and can also be shared on social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter. The app costs $0.99 and a lite version is also available.

Apple May Launch The iPad 3 In February On Steve Jobs' Birthday

A new report going around from Focus Taiwan claims that Apple is preparing to launch the iPad 3 on February 24, the anniversary of Steve Jobs' birthday.
It's also worth noting that February 24 is a Friday, a day which Apple typically likes to launch new devices on.

Grammy for Steve Jobs

The National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences will honor Steve Jobs with a Grammy Award, naming him a Trustees Award honoree on Wednesday.

This 2012 Special Merit Award will be presented posthumously at an invitation-only ceremony to be held on February 11, 2012, with a formal acknowledgment made during the 54th annual Grammy Awards television broadcast on Sunday, February 12, 2012.

According to a statement from the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, Jobs will be honored for his long-standing career of innovation, helping to “create products and technology to transform the way we consume music, TV, movies, and books.”

Steve Jobs Tricked Young Wozniak Into An Atari Game Scam

Ever since the biography of Steve jobs by Walter Isaacson released, many aspects of Jobs life have been revealed and in the latest development, it’s discovered that Steve Jobs always wanted to be at the top and always wanted to take all the glory.

Today in documentay about Steve Jobs entitled “ Steve Jobs: Billion Dollar Hippy ” , Steve Wozniak seemed pretty hurt by Jobs action and said that if Jobs would have only said that he needed the money, I would have happily agree with him and then he could take the share all he wanted.
Woz also talked to Radio 4 this morning about the documentary regarding Jobs, and said: 
I just wanted to be in engineering only – I never wanted to run a company, never wanted to run things, step on other people – Steve very clearly did, and wanted to be a top executive and a really important thinker in the world…. Apple does a lot of conservative [things] – we control things – and has very little tolerance…Even if an engineer told a friend something and it got out… you’re fired!

Apple's founding contract coming up for auction

The contract that established Apple as a corporate entity in 1976 and another document, signed 11 days later, that removed one of the partners are expected to fetch up to $150,000 when they are auctioned next week by Sotheby's on 13 Dec.


The contract establishes the Apple Computer Company and states that Jobs and Steve Wozniak will each be given 45 percent of Apple's shares. Ronald Wayne, who drafted the contract, was given 10 percent.

Steve Jobs Bio: Amazon’s Best-Selling Book of the Year

Walter Isaacson’s bio of late Apple co-founder Steve Jobs topped Amazon’s list of the top-selling books of 2011, though the title is still number three for best-selling Kindle titles.


Nielsen BookScan had reported that Steve Jobssold 379,000 copies in its first week of release. With 25 days left this year, Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins is the best-selling Kindle book. Number two isThe Litigators by John Grisham.

U.S. Patent Office Honors Steve Jobs with iPhone-Shaped Exhibit

The demise of Apple's Steve Jobs made headlines when it happened. And since then, there have been so much written about him that has never been done so in internet's history. No doubt he was a visionary, inventor and a mentor.

No less than 323 Apple patents list Jobs among the inventors responsible for them. Now the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is honoring the Apple founder with a dedicated exhibit.


The Patents and Trademarks of Steve Jobs: Art and Technology that Changed the World puts Jobs’ patents on display in the USPTO’s National Inventors Hall of Fame and Museum. Conceived by the nonprofit Invent Now, the exhibit has a look that’s instantly recognizable: 30 giant-size iPhones, lined up screen to screen in a simple rectangular formation, like a military salute designed by Jonathan Ive.

Jobs Heirs may Sell Apple and Disney to avoid millions in Capital Gains Tax

Steve Jobs’s widow may never find a better moment to sell her late husband’s $6.78 billion of Apple Inc. and Walt Disney Co. stock. Under U.S. law, Jobs’s heirs may sell Apple and Disney and avoid $867 million in capital gains taxes, reports Huffington Post.

“I can’t see any reason not to sell all of it,” said Kacy Gott, chief planning officer at the wealth-management firm Aspiriant, whose clients have assets of as much as $100 million. “They should have been looking to diversify years ago.”

George Clooney, 50, is battling it out with his former ER co-star Noah Wyle, 40, to play Apple founder Steve Jobs in a new movie.
