iOS 5 Untethered Jailbreak Release For iPhone 4S, iPad 2 Excluded Models Almost Ready [Video]

Good news ! , pod2g of the Chronic Dev Team has released an iOS 5 untethered jailbreak demo which shows that for now untethered jailbreak of iOS 5 for iPhone 4S and iPad 2 excluded models will release to the public very soon.


Too bad it won’t release for iPhone 4S and iPad 2 right away but if this comes out, it’s pretty sure the jailbreak for the remaining will come also after a brief time.

Popular in Asia and likely added to enhance the iPhone and iPad’s global appeal, emoji icons are accessible via the “general” menu in your iOS 5 settings, under “keyboard.” There you can see a prompt for “international keyboards” and then “emoji.”

Battery in iOS 5.1 Beta still Drains Out like In iOS 5

Apple seeded developers with iOS 5.1 Beta late last month in attempts to fix the prevailing poor battery performance issue but still failed to fix the issue as the battery still drains out very quickly, just like in case of iOS 5.

According to reports, the beta version of iOS 5.1 has also failed and it seems that Apple is just making an illusion of fixing the issues by releasing new version which doesn't bring any performance fix.

Chronic Dev Team have released a software called ” Chronic-Dev Crash Reporter ” which will make the process for  iOS 5 untethered jailbreak easy for the Chronic dev team, reports Chip Hazard.
What this app does is, that it stops the crash reports being sent to Apple’s server by the iPhone and re-routes that crash report transfer to a special server which is hosted by Chronic Dev Team.

Galaxy Nexus beats iOS 5 In "Browser Speed Tests"

With the release of Samsung's Galaxy Nexus, laced with latest Android "Ice Cream sandwich" OS, there is now a strong competitor to Apple's iPhone 4S in the market. Analysts have straightaway gone into comparing the two sets and have found that Galaxy Nexus beats iOS 5 in Browser Speed Tests, a basic necessity for almost all the users.

However, The iPhone 4S beats Galaxy Nexus when it comes to GPU benchmarks which if considering you are a gamer, iPhone 4S will likely have better game performance than Galaxy Nexus which is limited by its slower SGX 540 underneath, reports Chip Hazard quoting survey by AnadTech.

iOS 5 Untethered Jailbreak Possible - thanks to a bug

Good news for the Jailbreak lovers: Chronic Dev Team member pod2g has found a new bug in iOS 5 that will make untethered jailbreak for iOS 5 much possible, reports Chip Hazard.

The gaming enthusiasts had no hope of it being available for iO 5 owing to its difficulty level being higher than the previous iOS versions. But "thanks" to those who have made it possible through a bug found in the iOS.
