Apple's iOS 5 launch annoys users

Apple released its long-awaited iOS 5 operating system at 10 AM PST to awaiting users of the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch Wednesday. But for many, the excitement was short lived as instead of installing the new software easily, the update created problems and even bricked phones.  Users first needed to download and install iTunes version 10.5, which was only made available a day earlier. Reports have flooded Apple support forums, Twitter, Facebook, and other social networks about difficulties in updating handsets.
