Hamilton, who has recently split from his girlfriend, pop star Nicole Scherzinger, is said to have been having an out-of-focus driving practise. Although he is adamant he would not let his heartache affect his focus, he was not himself when he failed to spot double yellow flags being waved at turn 16 while Pastor Maldonado's stationary Williams was being recovered by marshals.
Despite his broken heart, Hamilton seems eager to put up a superb performance at Buddh International Circuit better than his rivals.
