The building boom in Dubai seems over now and empty building lie vacant since there are too many after the building boom that hit the Shiekhdom awhile ago. Now the same bloom has taken over the Toronto skyline. Tall, black steel cranes, more cranes and yet many more cranes are seen all over Toronto - it gives a look as if the Martians have taken over the city.
John Feri reports in Global Post that:
Toronto is in the midst of the longest sustained housing boom in its history, a decade-and-a-half run that’s seen housing prices more than double and thickets of shiny condominium towers forever alter the city’s distinctive skyline.
Although the industry analysts have been predicting for years the end of the Toronto boom - they have been proved wrong as for now.
