Egyptian protesters not impressed by army offer

Full Story: BBC Middle East 23 Nov

Despite assurances from the army for a speedier handover of the reins to the civilians, the protesters are not impressed and continue to occupy Cairo's Tahrir Square.

It may be added that Field Marshal Mohamed Hussein Tantawi said presidential elections would be held by July 2012, mainly due to four days of violent clashes. The protesters in the square said the concession was not enough and have demanded the field marshal step down, reports BBC.
