Samsung says it will not be involved in legal battles against Apple’s iPhone 4S in its hometown South Korea. The move comes as a positive response indicating a desire to avoid negative publicity from trying to deprive its people of the new device.

A senior Samsung executive said, “We concluded that we should engage in legal battles with Apple only in the global market, but not in order to gain more market share in Korea,” reports Chip Hazard.
