The cold and icy winds from Siberia hitting the UK are likely to bring down the mercury to -11C over the weekend in Scotland.
The wintry conditions caused stunning scenes, as huge icicles appeared on the roadside in Staffordshire
Forecasters say up to an inch of snow could fall, especially in Eastern parts of England such as East Anglia, Yorkshire and Kent. Besides, the entire country will also be gripped by freezing winds of up to 40 mph, making it feel even colder.
And weather is not expected to warm up until next Wednesday.
