The ugly brawl that followed the Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov is likely to result into temporarily suspension by the Nevada State Athletic Commission pending a full inquiry.
The pair who were involved in a brawl following their lightweight title fight at UFC 229 on Saturday night will be given a 10-day suspension on October 15.
McGregor did receive his $3m after being initially cleared of wrongdoing, but could now be fined and banned after footage showed him throwing a punch.
ESPN reports that the NSAC will then vote on October 24 as to whether the rivals will be suspended indefinitely.
