French Open 2019: Frederer and Nadal to date in Semis on Friday

The heartbeats in Paris are getting stronger and faster as the ongoing French Open 2019 or the Roland Garros is reaching its crucial stage of semis. While Serena crashed out in the third round to make a history, men are doing pretty well without any major set back so far.

And in the first decided semi final Roger Federer and Nadal have a date to decide who moves into the final. The Federer-Nadal semi is being played on Friday. So who is going to march into finals is hard to tell for now, but most pin hopes on Nadal who feels more at home on the clay than Federer who is king of grass.

Rafael Nadal, the defending champion,  had an easy 6-1 6-1 6-3 win over Kei Nishikori in the quarter-finals, while Federer had a rather tough time of playing down fellow Swiss Stan Wawrinka in four sets.

20-times Grand Slam winner Federer is playing at Roland Garros for the first time in four years, having missed the 2016 event with a back injury and skipped the past two clay-court swings to preserve his body.

Nadal is playing his 12th semi-final at Roland Garros and has won the tournament on all of the 11 previous occasions he has reached this stage.
