Today's first semi final of T20 World Cup Cricket was a big thriller between England and New Zealand. While most of the fans were almost certain that England will be playing the final match, the black caps proved their calculations wrong by defeating England by five wickets and qualifying for final of the tournament to be played on Sunday.
New Zealand chased down 57 runs in the last four overs, the most target runs successfully chased by any team in men's T20Is at the death overs . Daryl Mitchell was declared Player of the Match for his unbeaten 72 that ensured victory for his team.
England batting first gave a target of 167 to the New Zealand, which they pursued relentlessly and defeated the English with five balls still remaining.
