European shares dip as hopes for debt crisis fade

It has been reported by Reuters Thursday that European shares have dipped amid crashing hopes of a much awaited plan to ease the euro zone debt crisis. In a panic move,  the French President Nicolas Sarkozy flew to Frankfurt on Wednesday to talk with German Chancellor Angela Merkel in a bid to break a deadlock between the European leaders over how to increase the firepower of the region’s bailout fund. But nothing worthwhile seems to have been reached at.
