Human Papillomavirus (HPV) May Cause Cardiovascular Disease

A study, published in The Journal of the American College of Cardiology Monday concludes that there is a strong possibility that Human Papillomavirus (HPV), one of the most common sexually transmitted viruses in the U.S. may also cause cardiovascular disease. HPV is otherwise a major casue of cancer of cervix, vulva, male genitals and throat. The finding of the study suggests that the HPV vaccine could preveent incidence of heart disease.
