Richard Mangino, 65, who lost his arms below the elbows and his legs below the knees as a consequence to severe bloodstream infection, has had a successful transplant operation and got his limbs back. He was tearful to touch faces of his two grandsons and says he looks forward to do ordinary things again. a team of more than 40 surgeons, nurses and other staff performed the miraculous hand transplant in an operation session lasting for more than 12 hours in a hospital in Boston. Although, the donor's name however has not been made public, Richard is thankful for the unknown donor, the doctors and technology that made all this to happen.
