Marc Grossman arrives in Pakistan

Amid rising tensions between Pakistan and USA over dealing with the Haqqani network, US special representative for Pakistan and Afghanistan Marc Grossman arrived in Pakistan today. Soon after his arrival, he has had talks with the Chief of Army Staff, Pakistan Army and is likely to meet the foreign Minister Ms Khar. He will discuss ways to de-escalate the rising tension between the two countries.
