Microsoft and Compal Sign Patent Agreements Covering Android and Chrome

In a bid to strengthen itself against the Apple onslaught, Microsoft has signed a patent agreement with Taiwan's Compal Electronics. As per the agreement, Compal will receive royalties in exchange for the patent coverage of its tablets, mobile phones, e-readers and other device using Microsoft's Android and Chrome.
