A 1970 built Very Large Array Telescope (VLA) looks up to the world for a name. The telescope in New Mexico, USA has undergone many updations and now at the finish of the updating work, the occasion is to be celebrated by giving the telescope a new name. The name-giving-contest is open until 1 December and the winner will be announced at the American Astronomical Society conference in January.
