Roger Federer beats Juan Monaco to win his 800th match in Paris Masters quarters Friday and moves to semi finals. Federer will next play Tomas Berdych of the Czech Republic, who beat Andy Murray of Britain.
In the meantime in a major setback, world number one Novak Djokovic pulled out ahead of his quarterfinal due to shoulder injury.
