Already shook twice since last month, Eastern Turkey was again rocked Tuesday morning. The quake measured 5.2 on the Richter Scale. The Van province, which was hit today and earlier before, has not reported any damage so far, state-run Anatolia news agency said.
Previous quakes have turned Van, the provincial capital of half a million, into a virtual ghost town, Governor Munir Karaloglu said Monday. He called for urgent relief aid for survivors.
