Man feeds wife with Steroids to make her fat - to force her stay home

An Indian-origin man has been given a suspended jail term in Britain for secretly feeding his wife steroids so that she becomes overweight and stays at home to cook and look after their children.

As reported by The Times of India, Dalwara Singh living in Leicester , secretly fed his wife with steroids to cause her to sprout hair on her face and back and make her skin itchy and spotty. When the wife said she needed to see a doctor, Singh told her she was worrying over nothing.

At the Leicester Crown Court on Tuesday, Singh admitted to his crime and was awarded 12-month jail sentence, suspended for two years, and ordered to attend a domestic abuse programme.
