Riot Police Evict and Arrest Sydney Protesters from Unused Building

Full Story: 702 ABC Sydney 9 November 2011 (Australia)

The protesters in Sydney had a tough day with police as police removed a group of anti-capitalist protesters from an unused office building. The protesters were evicted from the premises and arrested for trespass. One was arrested for failing to comply with police.

The protesters had barricaded themselves in an empty seven-story building, unfurling a banner from a window and writing slogans on the glass in what they was a bid to highlight the housing crisis in Sydney.
