Brittany Murphy's Father sues Los Angeles Coroner's Office

Two years after actress Brittany Murphy's shocking death at the age of 32, her parents continue to battle with authorities over just what happened. In the latest development, Murphy's father, Angelo Bertolotti, has filed suit against the Los Angeles County Coroner's office, according to Radar Online, in an effort to gain access to hair samples in the department's possession.

The "Uptown Girls" actress's husband, Simon Monjack, discovered her body inside their Hollywood Hills home on Dec. 20, 2009. Just five months later, Monjack also died - as a result of 'pneumonia and anemia,' according to the coroner.
