While an initiative is at hand by two leading newspapers of Pakistan and India with a hope to bring peace between the two countries, it seems at official level nothing has changed.
Readers may be surprised to know that a Rotary Club of Pakistan cricket team was intervened by the Indian CIA staff while they were playing the match in Mumbai on the plea that the team had a wrong visa.
The Express Tribune reports that The Indian CIA team reached the cricket ground where Pakistan was playing against India in the Wapi area of Mumbai and found that the Pakistani team was carrying a visa for Daman, an area of Mumbai adjacent to Wapi, and thus ordered the expulsion of the team.
The Pakistan Rotary Club team was later sent back to Pakistan.
