3 arrested in IPL betting rackets

Delhi Police today claimed to have smashed two betting rackets during IPL match between Chennai Super Kings and Kings XI Punjab with the arrest of three persons and recovery of cash and other articles.

In the first incident, Hemant Malik (32) was apprehended from Karol Bagh yesterday while he was allegedly taking bets on Chennai Super King–Kings XI Punjab IPL Cricket Match.

Two mobile phones, a television set, a calculator, satta slips, and cash of Rs 27,500 and other articles were recovered from his possession.
