Pakistanis recorded their name in the Guinness Book of World Records for the second time in one week after 24,200 people made the world’s largest human flag at the National Hockey Stadium, Lahore. Once displayed, the massive flag filled the entire hockey stadium as can be seen in the photo below:

The atmosphere was filled with roars of joy as a representative of the Guinness Book announced the success of the Pakistani youth present in creating a new record. The record was previously held by Portugal when on May 17, 2006, Portuguese women formed the world’s largest human flag.
Earlier, Pakistan set the world record of singing of national anthem by over 42, 000 participants breaking the earlier record of singing national anthem by 15,000 singers.
