Elisany da Cruz Silva who is just 17 but reaches out to the sky with her height just four inches short of seven feet, does not mind walking hands in hands with his boyfriend who is a feet and four inches shorter tha she - nor does her boyfriend, the 22 years old Francinaldo da Silva Carvalho, minds it at all.
Elisany da Cruz Silva's towering frame is attributed to a tumour on her pituitary gland, which regulates growth. Doctors have since removed the tumour. Although she is not as tall as the Chinese Yao Defen, who recently died at 7 feet and 8 inches, she is making headlines wherever she goes.
