Muhammad Ali, the Black Superman, dies at 74


June 3 2016 is the most lamenting day as one of the greatest boxer of all times boards his heavenly flight at the age of 74. 

Yes, Muhammad Ali, the Black Superman and the greatset boxer who evert ived is no more. Muhammad Ali died at a hospital in the US city of Phoenix, Arizona. 






The legendary former heavy weight cxhampion was suffering from a respiratory illness, a condition that was complicated by Parkinson's disease.

Muhammad Ali beat another legendary boxer Sonny Liston in 1964, photo above, to win his first world title and then there was no stopping. He bagged the world heavyweight title for three more times, till he retired from active boxing in 1981.

Boxing legend Muhammad Ali criticizes Donald Trump's proposal to ban Muslims into USA


The Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump's is presently under lot of criticism for his controversial remarks over Muslims after the California shootout. 

Now boxing legend Muhammad Ali has also joined the voice of many in the USA and has criticized Republican presidential Donald Trump's proposal to ban Muslims from entering into the country. He has called upon the Muslims to "to stand up to those who use Islam to advance their own personal agenda."

Muhammad Ali, one of the most famous Muslims in the world, issued a statement saying, "True Muslims know that the ruthless violence of so called Islamic Jihadists goes against the very tenets of our religion. I believe that our political leaders should use their position to bring understanding about the religion of Islam and clarify that these misguided murderers have perverted people's views on what Islam really is."





Muhammad Ali's voice has drawn support of another Muslim sports icon, basketball Hall of Famer Kareem Abdul-Jabbar who has described Trump as the Islamic State group's "greatest triumph," a candidate who "preys on the fears of the public, doing ISIS's job for them." Jabbar further added that Trump's claims "have elevated him to the level of a James Bond super-villain. And like those villains, he is doomed to failure.

No official role for Muhammad Ali in opening ceremony - but he desires to meet the Queen


Muhammad Ali, the greatset and the Black Superman, will attend Friday's London Olympics opening ceremonies but will not be officially involved.

Ali, who bagged the Olympic Gold in 1960 at Rome Olympics, is presently in London for philanthropic functions to benefit the Ali Center, including the new Generation Ali Beyond Sport Award, as told by his wife Lonnie Ali to USA Today Sports.

Ali who is due to fly back the the States, however, desires to meet the Queen before he flies off the Michigan. Lonnie Ali said. "We've driven past her gate several times. He probably won't get that opportunity.''

Fears for Muhammad Ali 'taken to hospital after falling unconscious'

Muhammad Ali, the Black Superman, is feared to have been taken to hospital after falling unconscious, just days after his frail appearance at a funeral for Joe Frazier on November 14.

The 69-year-old has suffered from Parkinson’s disease for 27 years and was taken to Scottsdale Healthcare Osborn Medical Center, according to reports from Star magazine and RadarOnline. It has not been revealed what Ali was treated for or how long he spent at the hospital – but he has now recovered.
