Widely sold herbal supplement no cure for enlarged prostate

A study in the USA has raveled that a widely sold herbal supplement for the cure of enlarged prostate in men falls short of its much touted claims. Experiments at eleven different places in the North america revealed that even a triple dose could not obtain the desired results, the study concluded.

The research was conducted under an investigational new drug application from the Food and Drug Administration, and was funded by the National Institutes of Health and the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine.
