National anthems are sacred scriptures not be altered by any individual or group of individuals. These are worded correctly and precisely to reflect the aspirations of a country. But strangely the national anthem of Australia has been altered and students re forced to sign the altered anthem that installs "Christ" as the country's head of state and removes any reference to the Southern Cross. The altered version changes the second verse of Advance Australia Fair with the lyrics, which begin, "With Christ our head and cornerstone, we'll build our nation's might".
