China and Russia have signed a trade deal worth $7 billion this Tuesday, ahead of Prime Minister Vladimir Putin's planned visit to Beijing. The deal is of special significance as this visit is Putin's first foreign visit since he declared a planned Kremlin comeback. He is likely hold wide ranging talks with the Chinese President Hu Jintao and premier Wen Jiabao. The visiting Russian PM is also likely to discuss the political turmoil and events taking place in the vicinity of the two countries.
