Apple has finally and formally launched the much awaited and much talked about iPhone 5 Wednesday, 12 September 2012 today.

• iOS6 will work on all phones and tablets back to the 3GS - iOS6 to be launched September 19
• A brand new version of iTunes -- dramatically simpler, with the cloud build in.
